Presumptive Nominee's: McCain And Obama
News:
. No dates for conventions yet.
Note: I tried to figure out everything as best as I could interpret the information, and when not confused between the difference between Caucuses, Primaries and Conventions.
. See West Virginia. I'M SEEING A FOUL.
THEY SEEM TO HAVE REDID THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY ELECTION IN ORDER TO GIVE IT FROM HUCKABEE WHO WON IT ON FEB. 5th TO McCAIN WHO IS REGISTERED IN WINNING IT ON MAY 13th.
They have it listed now as a 'convention'? I know that Huckabee dropped out so it doesn't really matter - but it is the principle of the thing.

- - West Virginia:
. Huckabee (R) won the Republican Primary race in a prior primary election on February 5th.
. Clinton (D) won the Democratic Primary race on May 13.
- QUESTION. IF HUCKABEE WON PRIOR TO MAY 13 THEN WHY DID THEY RUN THE ELECTION TO GIVE THE WINNER TO McCAIN THEN ON MAY 13th TO GIVE HIM 9 DELEGATES?
It's listed as a closed primary - so I'm not understanding what is going on. Huckabee won the earlier primary election. I'm not going to list McCain as the winner in my state count - but Huckabee who won it earlier. They have it listed further down on the page now as some kind of convention. Just WHAT is a convention?
SOMETHING IS FUNNY GOING ON IN WEST VIRGINIA - AND I'M CALLING A FOUL.
SINCE WHEN CAN THEY REDO A PRIMARY ELECTION LIKE THAT? THERE IS NO MENTION OF HUCKABEE WINNING THE STATE ON FEBRUARY 5th.
NOT COOL WEST VIRGINIA.

Obama (D) won the primary race
. Republican primary scheduled for May 13th in Nebraska).
Note: For some reason Nebraska's Republican primary didn't happen on May 13th? I'm not seeing it rescheduled. I'm not certain what is occurring unless they feel it to be a moot point now.
NOT FAIR TO RON PAUL HOWEVER - OR ANY OTHER CANDIDATES. REPUBLICANS IN NEBRASKA MAY HAVE VOTED FOR SOMEONE OTHER THAN McCAIN - EVEN IF McCAIN DOES APPEAR TO HAVE THE NOMINATION.
NOT COOL NEBRASKA.

03.04.08 Mike Huckabee out of the Republican race.
I do not understand the difference between a primary and a caucus as of yet. NOW what exactly is a convention?
