Subject: Concerning Port Crisis.
Hello Mr. Mehlman:
I am writing to you because I receive email from you. Please forward this as you think it should be.
I am appalled by the direction our government is taking. I am appalled by the fact that control of 6 major ports are being considered to be transferred to Arab control which threatens our sovereignty. With all the Muslim unrest in the world this is ludicrous. I have tried to be supportive of the decisions of our government - but now I feel that the decision making has been compromised.
I can almost guarantee that the Republican party will not win an election possibly in the next 100 years after some of the decisions, and attitude, of our current President. Tomorrow I, and my husband, will be changing our party affiliations to Independent. I do not wish to support the Republican party at this point, and can almost guarantee with a certainty that you will not have our support and vote at the upcoming election. The election can't come soon enough to vote certain people, and possibly party, OUT!
I am also deeply offended by the Democratic party. I would let them know that but they stopped listening to decent people awhile ago, and don't care about my opinion. And it shows.
Didn't we learn with the Palestinians when they voted in Hamas? These people simply do not like us or care about our interests. And that also shows. I'm actually being asked to trust them with our ports?
Thank You for your time.
Assuredly in Faith,
Rev. Marguerite Earhart
