It is true that Boscov does mention Christmas in the small print. I’m wondering why they are so obviously not mentioning Christmas in their “Holiday Shop” – where the ornament even says “Merry” but they leave out the “Christmas”. That is strange indeed!

We’ve been watching Amazon. The items that come up in a search for the word “Christmas” seem to be those designated as such by the manufacturer, such as the name of a DVD, etc, or items that are tagged by their webmaster as relating to Christmas in order for people to find the items, since people don’t use the word “Holiday” to search for Christmas items. Surely, most of the naughty stores would do the same, and it would completely undo the reason for the Naughty-Nice list for us to recognize those stores as “Nice.” If you can find something else or perhaps a statement from Amazon supporting Christmas, we’ll certainly reexamine it. We would like to be able to make the “nice.”
